This will be my last blog entry for about a week. We are moving house tomorrow and won't have the computer up and running until hopefully next week.

This is also Holy Week here in Spain this coming week. The town runs on a completely different schedule to allow for the parades and jamming of streets that happens throughout the city. People gather to watch the floats of Jesus and Mary and the penitents paying for their sins by marching in long processions behind and in front of the floats.

The Passion of the Christ opens here this week as well. Not much talk about it. It seems people in Sevilla are much more interested in their hundreds of years old Holy Week marches than they are in some slick new hollywood produced film. I am looking forward to seeing it though. Finally a film that might actually come close to showing how the bible describes what Jesus went through when he died. I am referring to Isaiah chapter 52 where it says "just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness." I don't know if I will be able to handle it actually. But I will give it a try.

STILL MOVING!!...Tomorrow we are having a moving party...lots of friends invited to help us move our stuff over...probably have pizza or something at the end.

This week I was able to order some prescription sunglasses that are ready for me to pick up. I used some of the money I got from the insurance from the mugging to be able to buy them. It has been a couple summers already that I really could have used some prescription sunglasses...YAY I was able to order them this week!

Ok I am really getting anxious to move now. I had to get used to the idea of change and now I can't wait to get out of here and get settled into the new place.
