I feel really tired. this week has left me quite low on energy.
I hope that this weekend I can regain physical strength.
things are going really well with Amanda living here.
The insurance man came round today and I will be given back replacements of what was stolen.
I feel stronger in my spirit, somehow changed and a bit more whole than I was before the attack...

thanks for the prayers and support everyone. i am doing really well. the visit from friends from Madrid and others have really helped the healing process. Jonah of course has been a star. still hard to understand why such horrible things happen in the world but i can definitely see some really good things come from it anyway.

today our new friend Amanda, the young artist that lives upstairs, is planning to move into our apartment with Jonah and I. I am soooooooooooo thankful that she wants to live here with us. I have been praying for close girlfriends here in my neighborhood. and also for a spaniard to move in with us so that i am forced to speak more spanish at home. AND she's an artist and a christian and all the things that i could use in a close friend right about now. Yay!!

Doing better today. have occasional uncontrollable crying spells. and been working through some big self worth and personal safety issues. But I seem to be doing really well actually.

my glasses fixed up nearly as good as new. and i am surprisingly unhurt considering the man had a knife and was hitting me in the face for a good bit. just a bit of bruising on the face. a tiny bit of tooth chipped. but otherwise ok.

I am trying to go out into the street more today. i am a bit spooked but doing well. Tonight we will go out to friends house for a visit.

we have visitors the next few days and they are really good people that are good caregivers. So I am sure they are here at the right time.
