Well, this week I have been able to start a few projects that I am quite excited about.

The first is that my friend Costanza and I have agreed to do a condensed version of The Artist's Way-A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity by Julia Cameron. We will meet once a week to have a discussion and make sure we are doing the work. It is an experiment to see how I do leading a course like this
1. in spanish and
2. with people that do not have the same basic spiritual beliefs as I do.

I did this course before in California and it helped me so much, but I was only a participant and not the leader, of course it was in english and we were a group of women that more or less had the same beliefs about God and Jesus.
so this should be fun to explore. and of course I am hoping that this will also help me to become more creatively unblocked in different areas of my life.

The second project is that I have agreed to go once a week on Thursdays to Juanan and Inma's for lunch and to teach their family english. We will set up everyday situations like having a meal, grocery shopping and playing a game to practice common english phrases and vocabulary that occur in those situations. I really enjoy hearing someone that doesn't speak my mother language begin to utter their first words.

I really enjoy projects that I work on a little every week over a period of time to see big results.

Jonah's in bed sick with the nasty cold bug that's been going around.
I used my day to clean house. Did a heck a good job at it too.
I love a freshly cleaned house.

Kati and I were up on the roof for a few hours today scrubbing things clean in the sunshine, her box, my gym shoes, a backpack, etc. I was scrubbing, she was playing. I had on shorts and a tank top in January. It was soooo nice.
