I forget to say...Jonah has been taking good care of me while I am sick. He made me stay in bed on Monday, made me some good food and tea, is helping with the laundry, doing lots of chores and asking me how I am and what I need...

Feeling better today. Monday in bed was a good choice. I lost my voice and sense of smell and taste for a few days there.
Today it is all coming back to me and I realize the cheese I bought on Sunday at the cheese tasting fair tastes AWFUL!!!
It has that musty goat hair taste that I can't stand. I have been eating it for 3 days now and didn't even realize, i just thought the texture was incredible.

Ignorance is Bliss!!!

Two things that I really miss since moving to Sevilla... I was able to enjoy today...
One...horsebackriding in the mountains...and
Two...a cozy fire in the fireplace to warm up after the ride.

After Gloria and I went out this morning for a rare and treasured walk together with our dogs, Jonah and I left a tired Kati with Mark to dogsit. We escaped to the moutains with Juanan, Inma, Claudia, Carmen, Pepi and Mariola and spent the day hiking, horsebackriding, sitting in pubs, talking, eating cheese, taking photos, etc.

Very wise way to spend a Sunday in my opinion.

The funniest part of the horse ride was the leader stopping halfway to have a smoke and everyone passing around lighters and ciggies before we could start to make the trip back. We had only been riding less than an hour and we only had less than an hour left of the ride. very funny...

And now I will rest. I've caught a chest cold and probably should spend tomorrow indoors. Today I couldn't resist the opportunity to get out with friends and see the country.
