Today was very nice. I took the day off and dedicated it to working on art projects. The only thing is that I wish it would have lasted longer. I will try to have a continuation tomorrow and take advantage of the creative flow. I also need to write letters to my brother in prison and my grandpa. I have a list of people that I write snail mail to that don't or can't use computers or email.

So, today was productive. I worked on watercolors mainly. Wrote a poem about my Grandma. Cut pictures from a magazine and framed some postcards. Also listened to JS Bach, sunbathed and took a long walk to enjoy the sights. Intended to take some photos but will attempt that again tomorrow. Tomorrow I may also take a walk to the art park and see if there is anything that interests or inspires.

Poor Kati has it rough, not only is she in heat but consequently she is banned to only a small section of the hallway (which makes life and cleanup much easier for me and the rest of the household). She is doing her best and being a pretty good sport. But poor thing she is bored stiff. Can't wait for the 3 weeks to be over.

well, this week has been wierd and good. Jonah left on Monday to go to England for a week (meetings with 24-7 Prayer). Kati started her heat cycle on Tuesday. I found out on Tuesday that my Grandma Phyllis had died (dad's mom) the day before. My dad's birthday was on Wednesday. So I made a tearful phone call to wish him a special day. I feel like I have been going non-stop all week. Lots of emotions and ups and downs. Apartment hunting, caring for Kati, hanging out with friends here, catching up here from being on holiday, mourning my grandma's death, etc. Friday is here and I could use a weekend about now.

I will try to get housework done today so I can do more enjoyable things this weekend. Jonah gets home on Monday. We have an eventful next week before leaving to Amsterdam.

Jonah bought a tent so it looks like we will be camping out on the way to Amsterdam!!
