less than a week left in Ibiza!!
it went really fast...
I am going to miss everyone that I have met.
it has been an amazing summer.
will try to tie up any loose ends this week.

time with Mia and Marcus has been really good.
we have taken them to lots of great beaches.
I am actually getting tan.

cleaning today and Jonah speaks at church tomorrow.
the second team has arrived.
I am looking forward to hanging out with everyone one last week.

I am starting to look forward to getting back to Sevilla for a bit and then our trip to Sweden in a couple weeks.

DC 10

plowing through the murky water
am I in too deep?
I can see the shore
and the friendly boat of acqaintances and love
not far from me
treading water now
safely floating
rationing my energy like food and water
insecurity and the black hole of selfishness
surround me like fog
my senses awaken as the familiar shadow of sharks glide past
barely brushing my skin
If I´m careful and calm
I will stay safe
no open wounds to attract attack
And I know how to kick them in the eyes
I look around and I have lost sight of the boat
But a few swift strokes and
my friends appear above the waves
they pull me in to safety
I may have given the sharks a taste for fresher blood.

DC 10 was really good yesterday. I had a better time than last week. Next week is James´ birthday and we will go to DC 10 to celebrate. I am really looking forward to having a birthday party there.

We picked up Marcus and Mia from Sweden from the airport last night and decided against going to Pacha because everyone was so tired. We just met everyone at a cafe on the beach and had a little friend reunion.

Gave Kati a bath.

Jonah and Jason are working on the triburbana webpage today.

Tonight we are having a team meal at a really nice Indian restaurant.

Got some pretty packed days coming up so I am trying to rest and get over this cold and prepare as much as I can ahead of time for the next few days...

the short term team left today. the summer long team has a few days before the next team comes. Today we go out to the manager of DC 10´s house to clean. Other than that trying to rest up for tomorrow.

tomorrow we go to DC 10 all day to try to bring love and life to an extremely selfish and destructive atmosphere. we´ll see how that goes.
tomorrow night I have the opportunity to sing with a girl (she plays piano) from the team at a really cool cafe. kind of short notice to get some songs together so I am not sure how that will turn out.
pick up people from the airport, then on to Pacha with friends. tomorrow will be a very long and high stress day.

Tuesday we have a few from the team over for lunch and Kati REALLY needs a bath. She keeps digging in the garden at our house and her face is covered in dirt but she´s still very cute of course.

Wednesday I hope to go see a girl called Barbara Tucker singing in a club to DJ music. I heard she speaks truth and love to the people in the audience. Singing ad lib. I would like to experience that.
Maybe be inspired in new options for my musical gifts...

Also have lots of friends to catch up with and several "appointments" to speak with, pray with different people from the team.

this summer is amazing...
