Lots of really cool events coming up this weekend.
We have a visitor coming from Madrid. Her name is Sarah and she is thinking about moving down here in the fall. She will be here a few days to enjoy the sunshine.
Jonah and Jim and I are going to see the new Matrix movie tomorrow. Very excited about that although I am worried that I am not going to like it. I am afraid it is going to explain too much for me and that I won't like the explanation. The first one left me guessing enough to make up my own little conclusions and I don't want those to be ruined.
Tomorrow night after we pick up Sarah from the train station we are going out to Juan Antonio's birthday party. It starts at 12 o'clock at night. That's a spanish party for ya. Should be fun. Juanan and his family have a beautiful house in the country. It will be fun to see his family, Inma and the girls. It will also be nice to meet his friends.
This weekend is Eurovision and Sarah and I are very excited because we are hoping that the spanish entry wins. Her name is Beth and she was one of the winners of the spanish pop star TV show. She is very cool and it would be so cool if she won. She has to beat Tatu though. Which could be difficult because they have the whole lesbian thing which could be a plus or a minus, depending on how Europe will take that whole thing. But Beth does have rastas and a lip ring plus she can sing and move...we'll see.
We also may try to get a trip in to the beach. SO...like I said plenty goin on this weekend. posted by Heather 5/22/2003 01:16:00 PM |

a few days on my own was refreshing. Now Jonah and Jim are back and I did miss them. I have been inspired to begin writing an autobiography, so I started that today, we'll see how far that actually goes. Seems like our summer is getting more and more booked by the day.
should be an exciting summer with lots to look forward to in the autumn, as well, as our non profit org Triburbana gets underway in October. I look forward to seeing how this summer turns out. Got a really cool wedding invite today from Sweden for our friends Markus and Mia. Will be a treat to spend time with them this summer in Ibiza and then see them again in August at their wedding in Sweden. Never dreamed I would go twice in my life to Sweden. Life keeps me on my toes. I am so glad I didn't kill myself in the dark 80's like I nearly did a few times. posted by Heather 5/20/2003 08:06:00 PM |
